Frontline Video on Obama's Presidency
1. Why were the Republicans so unwilling to compromise?
2. How come there is arguing over what a bill says when you can just read what it says?
3. Is there a way to end the partisanship of Washington?
4. How is Obama's experience in the White House different from his predecessors?
5. Will a Republican president be able to repeal his healthcare reforms?

2nd Semester Progress
This semester I have learned that tests are much easier to pass when you study for them. Also that Congress has a lot of committees and that the president doesn't veto that often. Some challenges have been that now that soccer season is back I do not have as much time after school to study and read gov homework. My goal is to make an 100 on the test tomorrow and a 5 on the AP exam.

US to potentially invest in self-driving cars
The White House has a new interest in future of self driving cars, as the auto industry comes nearer and nearer to realizing this dream. They pledged to create regulatory guidelines and give money to researchers to bring them to the market. Obama has requested 4 billion dollars for a ten year span to be spent on this industry. Many believe that the use of self driving cars has the potential to greatly reduce the number of car crashes per year.

Trump vs Cruz in the Latest Debate
Tonight was the latest GOP debate. Trump and Cruz battled it out over Trump's accusations that Cruz was ineligible to run for the presidency because he was born in Canada. Under the Constitution this would not be true, as one simply has to be born a U.S. citizen, which Cruz was because his mother was. Cruz, in return, questioned whether Trump was a true conservative, based on his occupation as a business man of New York City. Other topics of interest included gun control and the proposed Muslim ban, which Bush spoke out against during the debate.

Churches in Fight Over Gay Marriage
The Anglican Communion has announced it's decision to impose sanctions of the Episcopal Church due to their allowance of clergy to perform same-sex marriages. These sanctions are to last three years and will continue unless the Episcopal Church changes its mind. Conservative archbishops wanted even greater punishment, like preventing episcopalians from receiving Communion, but this did not pass.
