Federal Court Rules Against Obama's Immigration Action
A federal court decided that Obama's action on immigration to decrease deportation was indeed unlawful as it had been ruled in a lower court. The Department of Justice has decided to appeal the case before the Supreme Court. 26 states have given negative feedback to the president's actions. The Judges over-seeing the federal case were both appointed by Republicans (Reagan and W. Bush) so it is possible that they may have a partisan bias over the issue. Obama officially claims that his actions are meant to improve public safety and national security goals.
