1. I do not remember the cable news media taking any steps to investigate the Ground-Zero Mosque. They took the information relayed to them.
2. The woman who was leading the group called stop the Islamization of America
3. They only really interviewed people that had nothing to do with the mosque, the did not talk to the main person and they did not really take into consideration the other side, the side of the muslims who supported the mosque.
4. No, it does not appear that any of them have ever been interviewed by cable news
5. They seemed to rely on anti-islamist that were angry about the mosque for their information. I do not find them credible because they do not seem to know anything about Islam.
6. Just knowing who controls what you are watching and the kind of personal bias they have and the kind of bias they want to create

8. They might have stopped covering it because they realized that they could not prevent the mosque from being created, so they would have just continued to report the same things. There were no new developments.
