Last Sunday, Ted Cruz spoke at a church in Florence, South Carolina. The Washington Post reported that the speech erred more on the side of a sermon than a political dialogue. In his speech, he called for greater numbers of Evangelical Christians to vote in the upcoming election, claiming that if this were to happen then the Republican party would be a shoo-in.
