Recently, it has come to light that the Central Command has been revising history: particularly that of the U.S.'s military failures in Iraq. According to the New York Times, last year when ISIS overtook some Iraqi cities, it was reported that the troops had simply been "redeployed". This is a falsified version of what actually happened: the Iraqi military retreating. As a result of the discover of the changes in the reports, the Pentagon has launched an investigation into Central Command. We will probably not learn the full extent of their falsified reporting, as much of the information remains classified.
