3. One of the top schools for journalism is NYU. Their program focuses on critical thinking skills, sophistication, and knowledge of subject matter.
4. Typically, in watchdog media, the media is "watching" the government or people in high authority. They are protecting the people from lies or things the government does not want us to know.

I think liberal bias means that news is skewed in a way that favors the liberal platform.
